Cheonggukjang is a type of Doenjang . To make it, soybeans are steamed until soft and then fermented in high temperatures. Doenjang takes several months to produce, but Cheonggukjang can be ready to eat in just two to three days. The steamed soybeans are inserted in dedicated fermenting machines and matured at a constant temperature between 45 to 50Co.
